The PromenadeThe Promenade is one of the most stylish shopping boulevards in England and is home to some of the best-known fashion houses, shoe shops and bookstores. Major stores such as such as Cavendish House, Habitat, Hoopers, Laura Ashley, Waterstones and Bally can be found here.

The High StreetIn the High Street there are fashionable shopping arcades such as the Regent Arcade Shopping Centre where you will find well known stores including BHS, The Body Shop and Mothercare as well as smaller individual shops. The feature of the Regent Arcade Shopping Centre is the famous Wishing Fish Clock designed by Kit Williams. Every half hour the magical performance of the bubble-blowing clock brings the arcade to a standstill. Catch a bubble and your wish will come true!
Further along the High Street is the Beechwood Shopping Centre housing Next, the Disney Store and Debenhams. Cheltenham's Shopmobility Scheme operates from here. Famous names such as Marks and Spencer, Littlewoods and Boots are also located along the High Street. Between the Promenade and Regent Arcade Shopping Centre is Regent Street, home to the Everyman Theatre and a wide variety of bars, cafes, restaurants and boutiques.

an important centre for collectors of antiques. There is a
concentration of well-established antiques dealers in the Montpellier
and Suffolks areas. Monthly Antiques and Collectors Fairs are staged at
the Cheltenham Racecourse on Sundays.
Farmers MarketsCheltenham's
Farmers Markets are held on the Promenade in front of the Tourist
Information Centre on the second and last Friday of each month. Over 30
stalls will tempt you with fresh and natural produce including
delicious cheeses, mouth-watering meats and a wide variety of
vegetables. Highly recommended!
